SPECIAL FAMILY CRUISING PACKAGES
Fast Track® to Live Aboard Cruising Course is available at all of our resort locations: Pink Shell Beach Resort & Marina on Ft. Myers Beach, FL; ‘Tween Waters Island Resort & Spa on Captiva Island, FL; the Downtown Hampton Inn & Suites in St. Petersburg, FL; Stock Island Yacht Club & Marina in Key West, FL; and Scrub Island Resort, Spa & Marina in the British Virgin Islands. This 8-day specially-priced package for a family of 4* (two adults and two family kids, minimum age 12 and maximum age of 25) includes 3-nights resort accommodations, tax, and resort fee while you learn to sail aboard a Colgate 26 for two days. Then you move to three cabins aboard a sail-catamaran or monohull yacht while you learn to handle a big boat for the rest of the week. Everyone has the option of taking the written and practical tests to receive three US Sailing certifications 101/103/104 (plus Catamaran Endorsement if you learn aboard a catamaran yacht), to skipper a yacht up to 50′, and apply for your International Proficiency Certificate if you wish to charter in Mediterranean countries. This family sailing program is a great opportunity to learn new boating skills, and reunite family bonds while learning how to bareboat charter big sailboats as a team. When you call to enroll in one of our 3-day or longer sailing vacation packages, you must mention you are active or retired military as retroactive credit is not available. You will also be asked to send us a copy of proof of your military status. The 10% veterans’ discount may not be used in conjunction with any other discount promotions or on other courses and programs offered by Offshore Sailing School.
